To reflect Antonio Zampolli’s specific interest in our field, the Prize will be awarded to individuals whose work lies within the areas of Language Resources and Language Technology Evaluation with acknowledged outstanding contributions to their advancements.

The Prize amount is 10,000€. The recipient(s) will also receive a certificate, recognition in the ELRA newsletter and will be featured on ELRA’s website. The Prize will be awarded for the sixth time in May 2014 at the LREC 2014 conference in Reykjavik (May 26-31, 2014). Completed nominations should be sent to the ELRA President Nicoletta Calzolari no later than February 1st 2014.

The ELRA Board receives many very good nominations, so if we were not able to select your candidate last time, you are invited to resubmit your nomination.

Important Dates

  • 24 October 2013: Abstract, Workshop, Tutorial and Panel submission
  • 27 November 2013: Notification of acceptance for Workshops & Tutorials
  • 31 January 2014: Notification of accepted papers
  • 22 March 2014: Final Submission of accepted papers
  • 6 April 2014: Submission of workshop proceedings
  • 28 - 29 - 30 May 2014: Main Conference
  • 26 and 27 May 2014: Pre-conference workshops and tutorials
  • 31 May 2014: Post-conference workshops and tutorials
